Types of Check Valves

There are several types, each suited to different applications:

• Swing Check Valve: The most common type, with a disc that swings open and closed.  
• Ball Check Valve: A spherical ball seals the valve opening.
• Lift Check Valve: A disc lifts off its seat to allow flow.
• Butterfly Check Valve: A disc rotates on a shaft to open and close.
